Choosing a right career and living a quality life is pursued by every individual but most of us get puzzled on how to choose a right career and very few individuals get rescued from this problem by doing proper career planning and development. When the child studying in 8th and 9th standard he or she along with his or her parents should start doing timely assessment by applying small technique i.e. SWOT Analysis.

The following things can be undertaken to evaluate the strengths which can take him or her to long way on the path of career growth and success :

  • Past records or mark sheet
  • Interest, passion and enthusiasm
  • Family willingness in supporting of higher education
  • Friend Circle

The SWOT analysis will prove to be significant in choosing the right subject which is a kick start for the career of an individual.

Along with choosing right subject, selecting right college and city is also very important in career planning and development. Now, the question is how to select right college and city? The answer of this question is not that much complex as it has been perceived but it is very simple if the individual is ready to do some mental exercise in the proper manner.

The simple exercise which required to be performed for better career planning and development are as follows :

  • Meet highly educated professionals in your surroundings.
  • Involve yourselves in education forums
  • Attend career counseling seminars and workshops.
  • Read newspapers like Business Standards, Economic Times etc to get to know about what are the best courses prevailing or demand in the industry.
